joined three weeks ago. photos are up. role is set. the box that says tell people about yourself has been blinking at me for twenty one days.
every attempt goes one of two ways. either i write a list of hobbies and it sounds like a form, or i try to write something with any actual feeling in it and it comes out either boastful or a bit desperate, and i delete it.
the specific problem, i think, is that i do not know who i am writing to. writing a profile for one person i could do. writing a page addressed to everyone who might ever look, while also knowing my ex is probably on this site, is producing nothing at all.
does anyone have a way in? a prompt, a question you answer instead, something. i will take anything at this point, the blank box has started to feel like a comment on me.
