Matched with someone three weeks ago and the conversation is genuinely great, daily messages, similar interests, the dynamic talk lines up almost suspiciously well. But neither of us has suggested meeting and I’m starting to overthink it.
Part of it is safety, I want to do the vetting properly and not rush. Part of it is honestly that the chat is nice and meeting feels like it could break the spell. But three weeks feels long? My vanilla friends meet people after four days of texting and look at me like I’m running a background check, which, fair, I sort of am.
So what’s normal here. How long do you talk before you meet, and what tells you it’s time?
