met someone on sunday. three hours, cafe then a walk, easy the whole way through. we talked about doing something again while we were still standing there, she suggested the thing we would do, i said yes.
five days of nothing.
i have sent one message, on wednesday, light, no pressure. nothing back. her profile is still up and she has been on it.
what is getting me is that there was no moment. i have replayed the whole afternoon and there is nothing i can point at. no awkward silence, nothing i said that landed badly, no visible change in her at any point. she was warm at the station.
so either i am very bad at reading people, or something happened after, or she is dealing with something that has nothing to do with me.
i know the honest answer is that i will never know. i suppose what i want to hear is whether this is common and whether anybody has ever found out afterwards what it was.
