Forty six, brand new, and refusing to be embarrassed about it

- Looking for
- somebody to try both sides with, slowly and with a lot of talking
- Experience
- None at all, unless curiosity counts, which I am told it does not.
- Around
- Solihull, Birmingham
I have now read about eleven posts on here from people apologising for being new, and I have decided against writing one of those. I am new. It is not a character defect. Everybody who is not new was new, most of them fairly recently, and a good number of you were older than I am when you started.
Forty six, Solihull, divorced three years ago, two grown children with their own lives, and a job in local government that I will not be describing further.
What I know is that I have thought about both sides of this for most of my adult life and never said so to a single person. What I do not know is anything practical whatsoever. I could not tell you which I would prefer, or whether I would like any of it once it stopped being an idea and became an actual Tuesday.
So I am after somebody experienced, patient and reasonably talkative to work that out with. My assumption is that it takes months rather than weeks, that most of it is conversation, and that I will find at least one part of it comic, because I find most things comic and I do not expect that to stop.
Not looking for anybody who wants to be my entire introduction to this and nothing else. Not looking to be hurried towards deciding what I am. And if you are also new, I am open to that, provided we are both honest that neither of us knows what we are doing.
