Both past sixty, and what we want is dinner with people who know

We are sixty two and sixty four and we are not looking for anybody to do anything with. We want to sit at a table with another couple and have a conversation in which nothing has to be explained or edited.
Twenty nine years together, in Oak Cliff, with a structure in our marriage for twenty two of them. It is settled, it works, and we are not looking to add anybody to it or to be added to anybody.
The reason for the post is that everybody we know from the old days has either died, moved to be near grandchildren, or quietly stopped. Our friends now are people from ordinary life who know nothing, and after enough decades that starts to feel like a costume you cannot take off.
So: dinner. Ours or yours or somewhere neutral. Long conversations about how people actually manage this over decades, what happens to it when bodies change, how you keep something alive that has been the same for twenty years. We have opinions and would like to hear other people's.
If you are looking for anything physical we are the wrong couple and there is no hidden second half to this post. Not looking for anybody much younger, purely because we have tried and the conversation ends up being us dispensing advice, which is not company. Not looking to attend anything. Not looking to be anybody's proof that this lasts, although apparently it does.
