I do not want to be improved, developed or unlocked

- Looking for
- somebody who likes me as I am on an ordinary Tuesday
- Experience
- Twelve years, both sides, and no interest in instruction.
- Around
- the west end, Glasgow
I do not want to be improved. Twice now I have ended up with somebody who treated me as a piece of work in progress, with goals attached, and both of them would have described themselves as supportive.
Thirty six, switch, west end, twelve years in, and perfectly content with who I am.
I raise it because the language on this board is full of it. Growth, potential, helping somebody become. It sounds kind, and in my experience it means a person has a version of you in their head and is disappointed by the one that turned up.
What I want is a dynamic with somebody who likes me as I am on an ordinary Tuesday. Both directions, ongoing, structured because structure is enjoyable rather than because I need fixing. I am good at this, I have been doing it for twelve years, and I am not in the market for instruction.
For the record, I am not difficult about this in person. I will tell you exactly what I want, I will do what I said I would, and I am extremely easy to be around as long as nobody is trying to build a better version of me. Not looking for a mentor. Not looking for anybody who uses the word journey. Not looking for a person who wants to unlock something in me, which is an actual sentence I received in March and which I am still thinking about.
