My contract ends next June and I do not know where I go

I am on a fixed term research contract that finishes in eleven months and I have no idea where the next one will be. It could be here. It could be the other end of this country, or another continent, or nowhere. This is the fourth of these I have had and I have moved cities twice already because of them.
Twenty nine, Paris, submissive, five years. My one real dynamic lasted two years and ended when I took the post I am currently in, and it ended badly, because we had both spent a year avoiding the conversation about what would happen.
So I am starting this one with the conversation. I am here until June. After that I am honestly uncertain, and anybody who tells you they will follow a person across a country after eight months should be treated with suspicion.
What I would like is something real inside that window. Structure, rules, service, being answerable to somebody. I am very good at this when I am in it and I am extremely bad at it alone, which is most of why my last two years have been what they have been.
I know that a defined ending is not what most people are looking for. I also know that many things on this board end inside eleven months anyway, without anybody having planned for it. I am in the south of the city, I share a flat, my hours are irregular and largely mine to arrange. If eleven months is too short, I completely understand, and I would rather you said so now.
