Posting now so that whatever this is survives November

- Looking for
- a dominant who understands that this city has a deadline
- Experience
- Four years, three dynamics, two of them died in February.
- Around
- downtown, Toronto
Two of the three ended in February and I have stopped putting that down to bad luck. Something about this city in the fourth month of cold takes a thing that was working fine in October and turns it into effort neither person agreed to.
So I am posting in August on purpose. Not because summer is when I feel like it, but because I want whatever this becomes to have four easy months behind it before the first week when neither of us wants to leave the building. The dynamics that survived a winter here were the ones that had already become habit by the time it arrived.
I am thirty three, downtown, in a building where the concierge knows every face and the walls are exactly as thin as you would guess. That is a real constraint and I would rather say it now than have it surface in December. I can visit. I can host rarely and carefully. Neither of those is going to change.
What I am looking for is structure that does not depend on being in the same room. Expectations that still hold on a Tuesday at minus eighteen when nobody is going anywhere. Standing things, check-ins, somebody who notices when they stop happening rather than three weeks later.
Not looking for someone who surfaces when the weather is good. Not looking to be a summer arrangement that we both quietly stop mentioning around the clock change. And if planning around a deadline strikes you as an odd way to start, you have probably not spent a February here.
