I counted, which was a mistake. Over four years I have had somewhere north of four hundred conversations on three different apps and I have met nobody. One person got as far as agreeing a day, then cancelled, then agreed another day, then cancelled that one as well.
Thirty one, Solihull, submissive, and I have finally accepted that the problem is the format rather than me.
The pattern is always the same. A conversation goes well for a fortnight. Then somebody suggests meeting and the replies get slower, and then there is a gap, and then nothing. It has happened often enough that I now find a run of good early messages faintly depressing.
So I am asking for something extremely unglamorous. One person, one arranged hour, somewhere public and ordinary, in daylight, within a fortnight of first writing. No photographs beforehand, no long build up, nothing that requires either of us to be entertaining in text. If we do not like each other in person we will have lost an hour, which I would now regard as an improvement.
I am submissive, reasonably well read and completely inexperienced, and I would rather discover the difference in a room than talk about it for another four years. Not looking for anybody who wants to build something up over months first. I have done four years of that and I have nothing to show for it except a very good typing speed.
