Last spring I borrowed a book about something else entirely and there was a chapter in it that described me so exactly that I had to stop reading. I finished it sitting in the car park because I did not want to be at home yet. I was thirty seven and I had never had a word for any of it.
Thirty eight now, Moseley, sharing a flat, an office job nobody would find interesting.
The year since has been reading, thinking, and one long conversation on here that went nowhere pleasantly. So I know the words. I know almost nothing else, and I have noticed that knowing the words makes people assume you know the rest, which has caught me out twice already in writing.
What I want is somebody who takes the lead in a way that is ordinary and continuous rather than occasional. I am far more interested in how a person would want me to live on a Wednesday than in anything that gets planned for a weekend and then discussed for a fortnight afterwards.
Not looking for a teacher who wants a student in the way that means something else. Not looking for anyone who needs me to have opinions about activities I have never tried. And if your first question is what I am into, I will not know, and I will say so, and I would rather that were interesting to you than annoying.
