I have wanted this since my twenties and I still cannot say most of the words out loud without hearing how ridiculous they sound in my own accent. That is my whole problem with this board. It is not the wanting. It is the vocabulary.
Fifty two, submissive, west end, and what I want is very simple. Somebody in charge. Expectations I have to meet. Being answerable to a person who takes it seriously and does not need it announced.
What I do not want is any of the performance. No titles. No kneeling in a hallway. No talk about protocols, which is a word I associate entirely with work. If that makes me sound unromantic then so be it. I would rather be plain than fake an enthusiasm for the theatre of it that I have never once felt.
Eight years, two arrangements, both of them ended reasonably. I live alone, I can host, and my week is my own.
Not looking for somebody who needs the language in order to enjoy it. Not looking for a person who will tell me I am doing it wrong, since there are two of us in it and the way we do it is the way it is done. Not looking to be introduced to a scene, at all, ever.
