New policy: I say the embarrassing thing first. So here it is. I have wanted to be told what to do since I was about seventeen, and I have also quietly wanted to be the one doing the telling, and for two years I have written posts that carefully avoided admitting either of those.
Twenty five, switch, city centre, two years in, three meetings, none of which went anywhere because I spent all three being agreeable.
The policy exists because being vague has produced nothing whatsoever. Every honest sentence I have written on this board has got a better response than the careful ones, which should have been obvious and took me two years to notice.
So: one person, ongoing, both directions. I want rules. I want to be checked on. I want, on other days, to be the one setting them, and I have no experience of that at all and I am not going to pretend otherwise. I share a flat, I have very little money, and I am free most evenings.
Not looking for anybody who wants a finished article. Not looking for a person who will find the honesty above endearing rather than useful. Not looking to be somebody's demonstration of what a switch is, since I am still working that out for myself.
