We live out towards Lanarkshire, it is an hour in, and we will do that drive happily as long as it is arranged in advance. What we cannot do is spontaneous.
Forty six and forty eight, together nineteen years. Six people have suggested meeting the same evening. All six were surprised when the answer was no, and all six lived twenty minutes from the middle of town.
What we would like is one person, once a fortnight, planned three or four weeks out and then actually honoured. We are both fifty next year, we are not in a rush, and we would rather have six good arrangements in a year than a diary full of things that get cancelled on the day.
We are looking for a dominant of any gender for both of us. We are both submissive and we work that out between ourselves without competing over it, which took a while to learn.
Not looking for anybody who finds the planning unromantic. Not looking for a person who cancels on the day, because for us that is an evening gone and a tank of fuel. Not looking to be told there is nothing out here, which we know, and it is precisely why we drive.
