Both retired, both sixty something, keeping this short

We have read forty of these and most of them say the same things at length, so we are going to try being brief about it.
Sixty six and sixty three. Married thirty four years. Both retired, out past the west edge of the city, in a house we built ourselves. We have done this the whole time, quietly, mostly just the two of us. He leads. She has never wanted it any other way and gets irritated when people assume she must have been talked into it. What we want now: one other person, ideally a woman, ideally within a reasonable drive of us, who would come for a weekend now and then and be part of something settled rather than exciting. We are past exciting and we do not miss it much.
What we do not want: anybody in a hurry, anybody who needs to be a secret, and anybody who would find two people our age either a novelty or a joke. We have had all three.
We would want to meet for a meal first with nothing else planned, twice probably. We are not on any of the apps and we are not going to be. This is as modern as we get. Anywhere in the city is drivable and we would come to you.
That is everything. Anything else, ask, and we will answer plainly. Neither of us has been embarrassed about any of this since about 1994.
