I decide things all week and would like to stop for six hours

My job involves a great many decisions that other people's livelihoods depend on, and by Friday I am so tired of being the person who decides that I have started making bad choices about dinner just to feel something.
Forty seven, west London, and I am not going to be more specific about work than that. What matters is the shape of it: high stakes, long hours, and no one above me to check anything with.
What I want is a fixed number of hours a week in which I am not in charge of anything. I do not need them to be dramatic. I need them to be reliable and completely out of my hands, run by somebody whose judgement is good enough that the part of me that audits everything can be off.
That last bit is the difficulty. I know what competence looks like professionally and I am unforgiving about it. Two men have told me I am impossible to dominate. I would say instead that I am impossible to bluff, which is different, and the person who worked out the difference had nine very good months from me. Discretion is not a preference here. Nothing photographed, nothing written down that has my details on it, no overlap of any kind with my life. That is not glamorous and I know it.
I am precise, I over prepare, and I will send you a longer message than you sent me. Sorry in advance.
