I load and unload aircraft between ten at night and six in the morning, four nights a week. When you are having dinner I am asleep. When you are asleep I am at my most awake with nobody to talk to.
Thirty three, the South Bay, submissive, two years in. One dynamic, nine months, ended amicably when he moved for work, and I have found nothing since because every conversation stalls at the calendar.
Here is the offer. I have three full days a week where I am awake and free while the rest of the county is at a desk, and I am ten minutes from the water and forty from most places if I am going against the traffic. Anybody retired, self employed, working from home, or on a schedule as strange as mine will find me more available than almost anyone else here.
What I want is steadiness rather than volume. Once a week that actually happens beats a flurry and then a month of silence. Rules I keep on my own through the nights. A person who wants a report and reads it.
I do not want to be told my job is a problem to be solved. I like it, it pays well, I am good at it, and I have no plans to move to days so that somebody can see me on a Friday evening. If that is a dealbreaker it is a fair one and I will not take it personally.
