We have never done this before and we are both quite nervous

Neither of us has ever written anything like this and we have spent two evenings arguing about the wording, which is probably the most honest thing we can tell you about ourselves.
We are thirty nine and forty one, married fourteen years, in Madrid, and about a year ago a conversation happened that neither of us expected. Since then we have read a great deal and done almost nothing, apart from a few things at home that we are not going to describe here and that we both found more interesting than we admitted at the time.
What we would like is to meet another couple who are also at the beginning. Not to be taught by anybody experienced, at least not yet. We think we would find it easier to be foolish in front of people who are also being foolish.
We do not know what we want beyond that, which we understand is not an attractive quality in an advertisement. We know we are not looking to swap partners. We know we are not looking for anything to happen quickly. We know we would want to meet several times before anything, and probably several times after that.
We are discreet to a degree that will probably be annoying. Nobody in our lives knows and nobody is going to. If you are an experienced couple reading this and thinking that we sound like hard work, you are almost certainly right, and we would still rather hear from you than from nobody.
