We run a business with a season, so our year is upside down

We work every single day from the end of March to the middle of October, including all the days other people take off, and then we do essentially nothing for five months. That is the shape of our life and it is not going to change while we still have the business.
We are forty seven and forty nine, together seventeen years, in Madrid. She leads, I do not, and it has been openly part of us for five years after a very long time of it being a thing neither of us said.
What we have never managed is any social life in this, because the months when other people are meeting up are precisely the months we cannot lift our heads.
So this is a post aimed at a narrow group: people who are free in January. Retired people. Teachers, oddly, though the holidays are wrong. People who work seasons themselves. Anybody whose winter is empty and who would like to spend some of it with two people who are extremely good company for exactly half the year.
We would like friendship, conversation, and eventually the possibility of something more with a person or a couple we have known for a long time. We are not in a hurry, because from November we have nothing but time. Not looking for anybody who wants us in August. Everybody we know is away and we are working every single day of it, which is the joke of our lives. We will not answer properly, and by the time we do you will reasonably have concluded that we are not serious.
