Sixty one, and I would like to write to you before anything else

- Experience
- Nineteen years, two arrangements, the second lasted eleven.

- Didsbury, Manchester
I would like to write to somebody properly for a while before we meet. Not three lines at a time across a week. Something closer to a letter, sent when it is finished, answered when there is something to say. I know that is an odd ask in the current climate and I have decided to make it anyway.
Sixty one, Didsbury, submissive, nineteen years in. My second arrangement ran eleven years and ended when he became too unwell to continue it, and we are still in touch, and I am still very fond of him.
The reason for the correspondence is not romance. It is that I have found out more about what somebody is actually like from four hundred words they had to think about than from a month of messages sent while queuing. People are careless when it is quick. I would like to know how you are when you are being careful.
What I want after that is formality. Address, standards, a proper structure, and a dominant who thinks of it as an arrangement between adults rather than a performance. I keep house well and I am punctual to the point of irritating people.
Not looking for photographs, ever, at any point before we have met in person twice. Not looking for anybody who cannot manage a paragraph. And not looking for someone half my age who is curious about what a woman my age is like, which has happened three times this year and is starting to wear thin.
