I recognised a colleague on this board and we both said nothing

- Looking for
- a dominant with no overlap at all with my working life
- Experience
- Six years, two dynamics, the longer of them three years.
- Around
- the city centre, Manchester
In March I read a post on here and knew within two lines who had written it, because I have heard him describe that exact kitchen while waiting for a kettle to boil. We work on the same corridor. Neither of us has said a word about it and I doubt either of us ever will, which is the truest thing I can tell you about doing this in this city.
Thirty four, submissive, six years in, living alone in the centre. It took me four months to write this because I kept picturing the wrong person reading it. I have accepted that the wrong person is going to read it whatever I do, so here we are.
What I want is a dominant whose life does not touch mine anywhere. Not a colleague, not a friend of a colleague, ideally somebody whose job I would struggle to explain to my mother. Past that I want something ongoing and fairly unglamorous. Rules I keep between seeing each other. A standard I am measured against. Somebody who notices when I have gone quiet instead of assuming I am busy.
I am reliable, I am tediously organised, and I am told that sits oddly with the rest of it. I finish at six most days, I live on my own, and I can host as long as nobody arrives in anything memorable.
Not looking for anyone who wants to be seen out with me locally. Not looking to send photographs before we have met twice. Not looking for someone who reads discretion as shame, because it is not that. I work in a building with four hundred people and an extremely busy group chat.
