Dominant, Jersey side, and I will not pretend the distance is nothing

Every time I have started something with somebody in Brooklyn it has died of transport. Not of incompatibility. Of ninety minutes each way and the slow realisation that neither of us wanted to do it on a Wednesday.
Fifty two, Jersey side, dominant, fifteen years in. I have stopped writing to people in the outer boroughs and I would rather explain why than come across as unfriendly.
If you are west of the river, or in lower Manhattan, or you genuinely do not mind the trip and have done it before for someone, we can talk. If you are telling yourself the distance will be fine because you liked the post, I have heard that four times and it was not fine on any of those occasions.
What I want is a weekly dynamic with one person. Structure through the week, one evening together, and occasional longer stretches when both our schedules allow it. I have a house, I live alone, and I can host, which solves a problem a great many people on this board have.
I am not interested in anything that lives mostly inside a phone. I am not interested in a first meeting that is anything other than a conversation. And I am not interested in being told I am overthinking the geography. I am not overthinking it. I am counting.
