- Looking for
- a long dynamic with someone who will actually teach me things
- Experience
- Two years, three short dynamics, a great deal of reading.
- Around
- upper Manhattan, New York
I have started this post four times and each time it turns into an essay, which my advisor tells me is also my main problem academically, so at least I am consistent.
Twenty four, submissive, sharing an apartment in upper Manhattan with two other people and walls made of paper. My schedule is either completely empty or completely full, with nothing in between, and I can never predict which week is which more than about four days out.
Here is what I actually want, underneath all of it. I want to learn from someone who knows more than I do. Not a weekend. Not a scene. A dynamic that runs for a long time, where I get better at something under someone who is paying attention. I have had three short things and every one of them ended around the four week mark, when it turned out the other person wanted an evening rather than a project.
I read constantly and I ask too many questions. If that is annoying to you we will both find out quickly. If you like explaining things, you may find me a very good audience. I should also say that I am much less articulate out loud than I am here, so do not expect the person in the coffee place to sound like the person who wrote this.
Practical: I cannot host, ever. I can travel anywhere in the city and I have more free afternoons than anyone with a real job. Not looking for anyone who wants me quiet and decorative, because I have tried and I am terrible at it. Not looking for someone who calls me kid. Not looking for a dynamic that only exists at times I am teaching.
