We are gone every summer. Not away for a week, gone: the first weekend of July until the beginning of September, at a place three hours north with a dock and no reliable signal. It is the best thing in our lives and it is not negotiable, so anybody getting to know us in June is going to run into a two month gap almost immediately.
Forty five and forty nine, the 905, together sixteen years, eight of them with this in it.
The upside is real. We are the most available people on this board for the other ten months. While everybody else is complaining about the cold, we are delighted to have somebody to see on a Saturday in February. The house is warm, there is space, and nobody comes near it.
What we want is one submissive, of any gender, for something regular and long. We lead together, which took practice and a great deal of talking, and we are honest with people that two dominants is not double anything. It is a different arrangement with its own difficulties.
The rhythm we have in mind is every second weekend through the cold half of the year, tapering in the spring, with contact continuing through the summer even though we will be unreachable for half of it. Not looking for a live in arrangement. Not looking for anybody who needs weekly contact in July. Not looking to be anybody's only connection.
