Winter league twice a week, which is more commitment than most people want

I play in a winter league two nights a week from October to March and I am not giving it up for anybody. I put it first because it removes two evenings and most Sunday mornings from the calendar, and because a surprising number of people treat it as a joke right up until the season starts.
Fifty two, North York, switch, eighteen years in. Divorced a long time ago, one dynamic since that ran four years, and a couple of quieter years lately.
I am at the age where my body has opinions. Both sides of this are affected by that and I have got much better at planning around it than I was at forty. What I want is somebody who finds the practical conversation about knees and shoulders completely ordinary rather than an unwelcome intrusion into the mood.
I bottom slightly more than I lead these days, which is a reversal of most of my thirties, and I have no explanation for it.
What I would like is one partner, long term, seen once or twice a week outside the season and rather less inside it. Somebody in North York or the north end of the city would make all of this considerably easier on both of us. Not looking for anybody who is going to be sarcastic about the hockey. Not looking to start something in September, which is when I have the least attention available. Not looking for anybody who wants intensity every single time, because at my age that is two good weeks followed by a month of nothing.
