She knew me without my having to explain, and that is what I miss

- a dominant woman patient enough to learn somebody twice learned
- Experience
- Twenty six years with one person, eighteen of them structured.
- Around
- the south, Amsterdam
My wife died two years ago in March. She led, for eighteen of the twenty six years we had, and what I miss is not any particular thing we did. It is that she knew exactly what I was for, and I never once had to explain myself inside my own house.
Fifty five, submissive, in the south. Irish, arrived at twenty four for a job that lasted eleven months, and stayed anyway.
I am not looking for a replacement and I would like to be clear that I know the difference. I want to be known again, by somebody patient enough to learn a person who has already been learned once. That will be slow. Parts of it will be unfair to whoever it is, and I would rather say so now than have it discovered in month five.
I am in decent shape, I cook badly and constantly, and I have a wide circle of friends with no idea about any of this.
What I want is a long dynamic with one dominant woman, domestic rather than dramatic, with a lot of ordinary time in it. Not looking for anybody who wants to treat grief as a subject for discussion. Not looking for a person who will be troubled that I still wear the ring. Not looking to be somebody's good deed, which two people have attempted and both meant kindly.
