Somebody told me last month that the west was a bit of a trek. It is fifteen minutes. I have timed it, on a bicycle, into a headwind, in February, in work clothes. This is the smallest city any of us will ever live in and I have stopped accepting geography as an excuse.
Forty three, dominant woman, in the east, nineteen years in. That opening is not really about distance. It is that people here give a soft no instead of a real one, and I would much rather be told plainly that you are not interested.
I want one submissive, ongoing, for something measured in years. Daily contact, standards that exist whether or not we have seen each other, and a check in that takes four minutes and matters more than any evening. I am not theatrical, I do not dress up, and most of what I do would look extremely dull from outside.
Because nothing here is far, I expect to see the person I am with often. Twice a week at the least. If the honest amount of time you have is one evening a month, that is a perfectly good life and it is not this one.
Not looking for a man who wants to be told what he wants. Not looking to be called anything at all before we have met twice. Not looking for a first message that lists what you would like done to you, which is the cart a very long way in front of the horse. And not looking for anybody who has decided in advance what a woman of my age is supposed to want, since two of the last four managed it inside three lines.
