Irish in Berlin six years, switch, still bad at the language

My German is good enough for the doctor and not good enough for negotiation, which is an odd place to live. I came over from Cork six years ago for a job I no longer have and stayed because I like it here. I switch, and I have found the boards here easier to read than the ones at home precisely because people say what they mean.
Thirty four. I top more than I bottom now, maybe seventy thirty, and the bottoming I do want is specific: restraint and being made to wait, not pain. Topping I am more flexible about and happy to be asked.
What I would actually like is one person to go to things with. I have friends here but none of them are into this, and I have got tired of arriving alone and leaving alone. If that turns into more, good. If it stays a friendship where we occasionally tie each other up, also good, and I mean that.
I will not pretend to understand a subtle sentence in German. If I nod and look confident I have probably missed it, so please say the important part twice or say it in English, and I will do the same for anything I have said badly.
Not looking for someone who wants a full time dynamic, I am not built for it. Not looking to be anybody's introduction to kink, I am still working things out myself. Late thirties to early fifties would suit me, though I am not strict about it.
