My entire dynamic moved out of the country in March for a job, which is a very adult reason to be left and I have not fully recovered from how reasonable it was.
Twenty five, in Berlin, finishing a degree slowly and working in a bar to pay for it. Submissive. Two years of experience, all with one person, which means I know exactly what worked with her and almost nothing about what works generally.
What I liked: rules, being checked on, being made to do the boring parts of my life on time, and impact, quite a lot of it. What I never tried: rope beyond the basics, anything with more than two people, anything in public. I have very little money and a great deal of time, which is the opposite of most people on this board and might be useful to somebody. I cannot travel much beyond the city. I can be free on a Tuesday afternoon.
This city is nowhere near as cheap as everybody promised and it is still full of people my age doing something creative and underpaid, and the crowd here is younger and friendlier than I expected. I am still nervous about walking into anything on my own, which is honestly half the reason I am writing this.
Not looking for anybody who wants to fix my career. Not looking for anything that involves my rent, in either direction, because that is a mess I do not need. And not looking for somebody in their twenties who is as lost as I am, which I say with love to my peers.
