Half of this board writes in German and half of it writes in English, and I have spent years moving between the two. The customs and the vocabulary are different in each of them, and I have got used to translating myself in both directions.
Forty, switch, I work in a technical trade and I have my own van, which makes me unusually mobile compared with most people posting here. What I want is one steady connection rather than a network. I have the network. It is friendly and shallow, and I have reached the age where I want one person who knows my actual life.
I lean towards leading with women and towards following with men, which took me about a decade to notice and which I offer as information rather than as a rule. Rope is my main thing in both directions. Impact I enjoy giving more than receiving.
Practically: I can cross the whole city without complaining, and having the van solves most of the rest. I read three languages at three different levels of competence, so do not be offended if I answer in the wrong one.
I am not looking for anybody who wants a relationship immediately, and I am not looking for anybody who wants this kept entirely separate from a real life forever either. Somewhere in between. I would want to meet your friends eventually and I would want you to meet mine, in whatever version of that suits.
