American in Berlin, submissive, and my German is genuinely tragic

I moved here for work eleven months ago and I have learned two things. One, my German is tragic. Two, the vocabulary I most need is in none of the apps.
Thirty, from Chicago, submissive, three years of experience all of it in the States. I keep finding that I know exactly what I want and cannot say it in the room I am standing in. It is a very particular humiliation and not the fun kind.
So I am writing in English and hoping that is all right. What I like is being given orders and being held to them, particularly around routine, because I am chaotic and structure does me good. Impact, yes, moderate. Rope, yes, though I am not experienced with it. Public anything, no. Anything that could get back to my colleagues, absolutely not, because I am here on a visa and I would like to keep the job.
I would want coffee first and I would want to be able to switch into English when something matters. I will keep trying in German for everything else and you are welcome to find that funny, because I do.
What I do not want is somebody who wants an American girlfriend more than they want me. That has happened twice and both times I noticed too late. I also do not want a long distance thing back home. I did that for a year and it nearly finished me. I am here at least two more years and I would like something real in them.
