The real obstacle here is that nobody has anywhere to go

- Looking for
- another couple or one person, and a solution to the same problem
- Experience
- Six years together, both experienced before that, frustrated ever since.
- Around
- Moseley, Birmingham
Every promising conversation we have had in two years has ended at the same question. We live in a flat with thin walls and a landlord who inspects. The last couple we liked had a lodger. The person before that lived with their mother. Nobody in this city under forty seems to have four walls that are reliably their own.
Two men, thirty six and thirty nine, Moseley, together six years.
We are raising it because it seems absurd that it goes unmentioned in every post on this board and then quietly decides everything. If you have somewhere, that is worth saying out loud. If you do not, say that too and we can work out whether there is a way round it, because we have become fairly inventive and it is still not solved.
Beyond the logistics: he leads, I do not, this has been part of our relationship since the start, and what we are after is another couple, or one person, for something that repeats. We are not interested in a single evening, partly on principle and partly because the effort of arranging one has become so disproportionate to it.
Not looking for anybody who wants to host in exchange for setting all the terms, which we have been offered twice and which was strange on both occasions. Not looking to travel more than about forty minutes. And not looking for anybody who will be vague about their living situation until we are standing outside it.
