Almost everybody who writes to me from this city has never done any of this before. That is not a complaint, it is simply what this board is, and after a year of politely explaining that I do not have the time to teach anybody I have changed my mind. I have the time for one.
Thirty three, Moseley, nine years in, two dynamics of three and four years.
So this is a post about how I intend to choose, which seems fairer than leaving forty people guessing. I am looking for somebody who has thought about why they want this rather than what they want to do. Somebody who can be told no. Somebody with enough else in their life that this can be one good part of it rather than the whole of it. And somebody who will still be here in six months, because the failure I see most often is enthusiasm with a shelf life of eleven weeks.
Age is genuinely open. The two people I have had the best time with were twelve years apart from me in either direction.
What I will not do is answer thirty questions in writing before we have spoken, or serve as anybody's research phase. And if you write to me and it is plain that the same message went to everyone with dominant in the role field, I will know, because four of you did that last month and two of you sent it twice.
