Every plan I made in April was cancelled by the sky, and I adjusted

- Looking for
- somebody with a sense of humour about a wrecked calendar
- Experience
- Thirteen years, three dynamics, one of them mostly conducted in a hallway.
- Around
- the east side, Dallas
Four times this spring I had something arranged and four times the sky went that particular colour and everybody sensible stayed home. One of those evenings I spent in an interior hallway with a torch and a dog who does not cope, texting apologies.
Forty four, east side, switch, thirteen years. I am putting the weather in the post because it is genuinely part of the shape of the year here and because how somebody reacts to a cancellation is the most useful thing I have ever learned about them early. Two people got short with me about it as though I had arranged the storm personally.
What I want is a long, even, unglamorous dynamic with somebody who can laugh about a wasted evening. Both directions, roughly balanced, and I would happily settle into a routine that runs for years.
I have a house, I can host, I am on the east side and I will meet in the middle of town without complaint. I should say that I am much more serious inside the thing than the tone of this suggests. I am careful, I keep my word, and I have never once let somebody down on anything that mattered.
Not looking for anybody who needs every arrangement to hold. Not looking for someone who wants to be talked out of a bad mood, because I am no good at it. Not looking for a person who is going to be precious about driving in the rain, which is half of March.
