What I want is silence and no light, and rope bores me

- somebody as interested in sensory quiet as everyone else is in rope
- Experience
- Eight years, both sides, narrow and deliberate.

- the east of the city, Hamburg
Take away sight and sound and I go somewhere it takes me a day to come back from. That is the entire content of my interest in this and I have found perhaps three other people who wanted the same thing.
Thirty six, switch, east of the city, eight years. It is the same interest on both sides: I want to build that state for somebody, or be put into it, and everything else is scaffolding I tolerate.
What it looks like in practice is unglamorous. A dark room. Ear protection. A very long stretch in which almost nothing happens, which asks a lot of patience from whoever is not inside it and which is a poor spectator experience. A great deal of careful checking, because it is easy to lose track of a person who cannot see or hear you.
Rope I find dull. Impact does very little for me. I am not disparaging either, they are simply not mine, and I have spent years being politely steered toward them because they are what a room does. I am steady, I plan carefully, and I have a written way of doing the checking that I would want to talk through with anybody before we started.
Not looking for someone who wants this as one item in a varied evening. Not looking for a person who would find hours of stillness boring, which is a reasonable thing to find boring. Not looking for anything in a crowded space, which defeats the point of all of it.
