One shoulder is out of action until spring, which rules out a lot

I tore something in my shoulder in February and the surgeon has been clear. No load through that arm until spring, possibly longer. Which removes at a stroke most of what I have spent thirteen years getting good at.
Forty two, switch, Altona. I tie and I get tied and I can currently do neither in any way worth doing. What is left turns out to be a great deal: protocol, service, verbal control, rules, kneeling, restriction that does not depend on my arms, and a whole category of slow quiet things I have always liked and always treated as the warm up.
Honestly, the injury has been informative. Six months in I am nowhere near as bored as I expected. A fair amount of what I thought was central turns out to have been habit.
So I am looking for somebody willing to spend a year in that territory with me, on either side, understanding that things may open up again later and may not. I would rather be with a person who finds this interesting than one who is waiting for me to recover.
Practically: I am fine, I am not in much pain, I do not need looking after. I cannot take weight on one arm and I will not be talked into testing it. Not looking for anyone who will tell me about their cousin's physiotherapist. Not looking for a person who wants suspension. Not looking to be handled carefully, which is the thing I have found hardest about the last six months.
