I have a demanding job, a full life, and one evening a week that is genuinely mine. I have built two long arrangements inside exactly that constraint and both worked better than the open ended ones I tried first.
Here is what it looks like in practice. The same evening, most weeks, planned. Contact in between, but not constant contact, and not the sort that expects an answer within ten minutes. Rules that apply across the week and get checked when we meet. It is contained on purpose, and the containment is what makes it last. Forty four, Houston, dominant, and specific about what I enjoy: obedience over time, small things done properly, somebody who reports honestly about the week they have had. I am not a heavy player. If what you want is intensity and marks, there are people far better suited to you than me and I will say so early.
Discretion is not negotiable and it is entirely about my working life. Houston is big enough that this has never once been a problem, and I am not asking you to hide, only to be sensible. What ends things with me is dishonesty about small stuff. I do not much care if you did not do the thing. I care a great deal if you tell me you did.
