Retired early after an illness, and I have my life back

I was very unwell for three years and I finished work at fifty five because of it. Then, slowly and unexpectedly, I got better. Not completely, but enough that I now have more energy than I have had since my forties and absolutely nothing in my diary, which turns out to be a peculiar sort of luxury.
Fifty eight, Wirral, switch, twenty six years in with a four year gap in the middle while everything was on hold.
What I have got is time, and specifically daytime, which nobody else seems to have. Weekday afternoons. Long slow mornings. The ability to say yes to something on a Wednesday because there is no reason not to.
What I want is somebody to fill some of that with. I lead and I follow, and after twenty six years I have stopped caring which, as long as it is decided honestly rather than by whoever speaks first. I would like a friendship in it as well, because I have discovered that not working is lonely in a way nobody warns you about.
Not looking to be treated as fragile, which happened for three years and I have had enough. Not looking for someone who is only free in the evenings, since that is when I am now useless. Not looking for anything that requires me to be somewhere at short notice.
