Couple with two jobs and no time, asking for very little

- people who understand that an hour is what we have
- Experience
- Eleven years together, three of them doing this properly.
- Around
- the far south east, London
Between us we have three jobs, two children and one grandmother, and the amount of unclaimed time in our week is approximately one hour on a Thursday. This post is about how to use it.
Forties, right out at the far south east end, together eleven years. He is a switch, she is dominant, and the arrangement at home is that she decides and he is quietly delighted about it in between doing the school run. We used to want the whole thing. Weekends, events, an actual community. We have made peace with the fact that we are not going to get it for another six years or so, and the alternative to adapting is doing nothing at all, which we tried and did not enjoy.
So we are looking for other people in the same trap. Not for anything elaborate. A message thread that stays alive. Coffee on a weekday morning. The occasional evening arranged five weeks ahead and defended like a fortress. We are both quite funny about how bleak this sounds and neither of us is actually unhappy. We just want to know somebody who does not say we should make time, as though the time is behind the sofa and we have not looked properly.
