Couples downtown, Los Angeles

Two of us, three roommates, and the problem is a door that locks

Looking for
people who can host, or who have patience for our logistics
Experience
Five years together, three years in this, all of it improvised.
Around
downtown, Los Angeles

Between us we have three roommates, one shared wall with a musician, and a landlord who visits without warning. Everything we have done in three years has been improvised around other people's schedules, and we have become expert at a kind of planning that has nothing to do with kink and everything to do with rent.

Thirty and thirty three, downtown, together five years. We are saying this first because it is what has ended two promising conversations, at exactly the point where somebody asked where. We cannot host. Not sometimes. Not with notice. At all.

What we are looking for is another couple, or a single person, who is either able to host or genuinely relaxed about meeting out and going slowly until something can be arranged. We are good company, we bring food, we are punctual, and we clean up after ourselves.

On the dynamic itself: she leads, I do not, and we would like to meet people who find that entirely ordinary. We have been to one social event, enjoyed it, and have not been back, because by the time you have driven in and parked it costs a day of work.

We are aware that a post opening with logistics is not seductive. Neither is discovering in week three that neither of us has anywhere to be. We would rather be dull now.
