Our building is old and the walls are decorative rather than structural. Our neighbor works from home. We have a one bedroom apartment downtown and a lease until next summer, and between those facts we have discovered that the practical obstacle to all of this is not nerve, it is real estate.
Twenty seven and twenty nine, together four years. Five months ago one of us finally said something out loud and the other turned out to have been rehearsing a version of the same sentence.
So we are new, and we are looking for one person, dominant, who is willing to be patient with two people who do not know what they are doing and cannot offer a room. We can travel anywhere. We can meet in daylight. We have flexible jobs, no children, a great deal of enthusiasm and almost no experience.
What we are hoping for is somebody who treats this as a long conversation rather than an event. We have read enough to know what we are drawn to. We have no idea how any of it works between actual people, and we would rather learn slowly from one person we trust than quickly from a room full of strangers.
Both of us wrote this. If you write back and address only one of us, we will assume you skipped this paragraph.
