Camera department, gone for months at a time, and honest about it

Twice a year I disappear. Not in a figurative sense: I go and live in a hotel in another state for somewhere between six and fourteen weeks, work fourteen hour days, and come back with money and no social life left.
Thirty six, the Valley, submissive, eleven years in and camera department for nine of them. Two real dynamics, both of which survived the first location job and neither of which survived the second.
What I have concluded is that I need somebody who either travels themselves or genuinely enjoys a long stretch of their own company. The person who says early on that they do not mind is often the person who minds enormously by week five, and I do not blame them, but I have watched it happen twice now and I would rather screen for it in an advertisement.
Between jobs I am the most available person you will meet. Whole weekdays. No commute. Real attention. When I am working I can hold structure at a distance, report properly, and keep to expectations without supervision, because that is precisely the skill the job has beaten into me.
Please do not write if what you want is a fixed weekly evening for the next two years. Please do write if your own life is full enough that eight weeks of me at a distance reads as a rhythm rather than an abandonment.
