I arrived last September and I leave in eighteen months, stated up front

- Looking for
- somebody who would rather have eighteen honest months than nothing
- Experience
- Two years, one dynamic, ended when I moved cities for the course.
- Around
- the Presqu'île, Lyon
I started a masters here last autumn and I finish in eighteen months, and after that I will almost certainly be somewhere else, because the work I want does not exist in this city. I have put it in the opening line instead of letting it surface in month three.
Twenty four, submissive, sharing a flat two streets off the river with three other people and walls made of nothing. Two years in this, one dynamic, which ended because I moved here.
I know how a post like mine reads on this board. I have already been told twice that students are the reason nothing lasts here, said with real feeling, by people who had clearly had a bad year. I understand it. I also think a fixed ending is not the same as not being serious, and the eighteen months I am offering are eighteen months I will actually be present for.
What I want is structure. Rules I check in with, tasks, somebody who notices when I have stopped eating properly during an assessment period. I have more free time than anyone with a job and almost none of it is predictable more than a week out.
Not looking for anyone who wants to talk me into staying, a conversation I have had with my family and do not need again. Not looking for something casual, oddly enough. Not looking for a dominant who will treat the end date as a reason to hold back, because that would waste the whole of it.
