Every June the city empties and I lose whoever I have found

Three of my four dynamics have ended in June. Not because of anything either of us did. Because they finished a course, or a contract, or a placement, and went home, and home was four hundred kilometres away. The fourth ended in October, which at least felt original at the time.
Twenty seven, dominant, Villeurbanne, five years in. I am doing a doctorate, which means I am a member of the very population I am complaining about, and I am aware of the hypocrisy. The difference is that I am staying, and I know that because my whole family is an hour from here.
So I am posting in the middle of summer, deliberately, when the board is quiet and everybody who was going has gone. What I want is a long dynamic with somebody rooted here. Structure, service, standing rules, an evening a week. I lead quietly and plan properly and I am far less interested in intensity than people expect from somebody my age.
I should say that I am not opposed to students. Two of the three were excellent and I would do it again tomorrow. I would simply like, once, to build something in September that is still standing the following September.
Not looking for anybody who describes this city as a stage in their life. Not looking for someone who wants to be led loudly. Not looking to be told this is normal at my age, which four people have now said and which does not make June any better.
