Cabin crew, away four days at a time, and never on a fixed pattern

- Looking for
- somebody who can hold something together across a moving roster
- Experience
- Five years, several short things, nothing that survived my roster.
- Around
- the city centre, Manchester
My roster comes out three weeks ahead and it never looks like the last one. Four days away, two at home, five away, three at home. I have not had a regular Saturday since I was twenty three. That single fact has ended four things and I am now leading with it rather than mentioning it in the second week.
Thirty, based near the airport but living in the centre, switch, five years in and nothing longer than about seven months.
I am not asking anybody to build their life around an aircraft schedule. What I am after is something that does not depend on which day it is. Things I do daily wherever I am. A conversation that happens when we are both awake rather than at a fixed hour. Somebody who understands that I might be genuinely unreachable for eleven hours and that it is not a message about them.
Either direction works for me. I lead a little more often than I follow and I am better at following, which is an inconvenient combination to be honest about. I am home more than people assume, and I have a lot of weekdays free while everybody else is at work.
Not looking for anyone who needs the same evening every week. Not looking for a person who will start counting how long it took me to reply. Not looking for something that only works when I am in the country, which is the trap every previous version of this fell into.
