Three winters of watching people arrive and leave, and I am tired

Three years running I have started something in November with somebody excellent, and three years running they have gone home in April. None of them lied to me. Every one of them told me at the beginning and I heard it as a detail rather than as the plot.
Forty five, South Beach, dominant, sixteen years in and nine of them here.
So this post has a requirement in it that has nothing to do with kink. I want somebody who lives here. A lease or a mortgage, a job that is not remote and temporary, family or roots or at minimum a stated intention to be in this county in two years. I am aware that sounds unromantic and possibly rude to half the people reading it.
What I am offering in return is the thing that only works over time. I build slowly. I want protocol that becomes habit, expectations that stop needing to be stated, and the sort of familiarity where a look does what a paragraph used to.
That is not a three month product. I have tried to compress it three times and each time we got to the good part around the time somebody started packing.
If you are here for a season, have a wonderful one. If you are here permanently and equally tired of the churn, we have more in common than either of us has with most of this board.
