We run a business together, so we are never apart

- Looking for
- another couple for something that has nothing to do with our work
- Experience
- Twenty two years together, eight in this, no experience of anybody else.
- Around
- south of the city, Miami
We have worked side by side in the same small business for sixteen years. We open together, we close together, we argue about a supplier and then drive home in the same car. Most couples complain about not seeing enough of each other. We have the opposite problem and no one has ever written a book about it.
Forty nine and fifty two, out south of the city, together twenty two years, this part of our marriage for eight.
The dynamic is the one thing in our life that is not the business. She leads. It started as an experiment during a very bad year commercially and it turned out to be the only room in the house where neither of us was thinking about payroll, which is probably why it has lasted.
What we are looking for is another couple, for friendship first and honestly maybe only that. We are not lonely, we are just extremely insular, and after sixteen years of talking to each other about stock we would like an evening with people who have nothing to do with any of it.
We are slow, we are dull company on a weeknight, and we cannot do anything at all on a weekend, which is when we work. Not looking for a third. Not looking for anybody who wants to know what the business is, which we will not be answering. And not looking for people who need a plan for the evening beyond food and a long conversation.
