My company is three time zones west, which means my working day starts at noon and finishes at nine, and I have every morning free while the whole city is stuck in traffic. It is the single best thing about my job and it makes me almost impossible to schedule with anybody normal.
Thirty one, Brickell, dominant, seven years in.
What I have discovered is that mornings suit this remarkably well. Nobody is tired. Nobody has had a bad day yet. There is no drink involved and nothing to rush toward. Two of the most careful and unhurried arrangements I have had ran entirely between nine in the morning and noon, and both of them were better for it.
So I am looking for somebody with the same shape of week. People who work evenings, who work nights, who work for themselves, who are between things, or who simply have a Wednesday morning free.
What I want is a proper ongoing dynamic. Structure, standing expectations, a person I know well enough to notice when something is off. I am patient, I plan, and I am much stricter than my age tends to suggest.
I cannot do weeknight evenings at all. Not occasionally, not for something special. If your only free time is between seven and eleven at night, we are simply on opposite schedules and there is nothing either of us can do about it.
