I want a dynamic conducted in plain language, not in vocabulary
Posted as plain_language
- Looking for
- somebody who says what they mean in ordinary words
- Experience
- Twelve years, three dynamics, and a lasting allergy to jargon.
- Around
- inside the ring road, Moscow
Half the posts on this board could be reduced to four ordinary sentences without losing anything, and the other half already have been and are the better for it. I have watched people describe what they want in terms so specialised that I genuinely could not tell whether they were asking for an evening or a marriage.
Forty five, dominant man, inside the ring road, twelve years in. I work with engineers, which has taught me that if you cannot explain what you want to a person who is not in your field, you probably have not decided yet.
Writing in a second language turns out to help with this. Every one of us here is doing the same thing, reaching for the plain word because the elegant one is not available, and I find the whole board reads more honestly for it. If your English is worse than mine, write to me anyway. It is not a test.
What I want, in the plain words: one woman, a regular evening, rules that apply between our evenings, and the authority to hold her to them. I want to be told the truth when something has not worked, promptly, without a preamble.
I am patient with nerves and impatient with vagueness, which is an awkward combination and I know it. Not looking for a scene report. Not looking for someone who has read a great deal and done nothing, unless she says so, in which case we are fine. Not looking for anybody who wants me to guess.
