My free evenings for the whole year are decided in September

I play in an orchestra. That means that in September I am handed a document telling me where I will be on almost every evening until June, and after the initial horror of it I have come to think it is the single best thing about my life. I know what I am doing on a Thursday in February. Almost nobody does.
Thirty eight, switch, the centre, nine years in. Married once, not any more, no children, a flat I share with an enormous and unfriendly cat.
The advantage for you is that I can tell you now which evenings I will have free in eight months. The disadvantage is that they are not negotiable and there are fewer of them than you would like, and in the touring weeks I am simply not here at all.
I go both ways and genuinely without preference, though I notice I want to lead more in the busy months and less in the empty ones, which I have never fully understood. What I am looking for is one person, ongoing, unhurried, with a fixed regular slot in it that we both defend. I would rather see somebody every second Wednesday for three years than four times in a fortnight and then not for a month.
Not looking for spontaneity, which I appreciate is most of what people want. Not looking for someone who will call the schedule romantic in June and restrictive in November. Not looking for anybody who needs daily contact, because in the heavy weeks I am useless at it.
