I do not drink, which rules out most of how people meet here

Six years without a drink and I intend to make it sixty. This has almost nothing to do with what I want from a partner and almost everything to do with how difficult it is to meet one, because I have noticed that a startling proportion of first meetings in this city are arranged around a bottle.
Forty two, switch, the near suburbs, fifteen years in. I am not evangelical and I do not care in the slightest what you do. My last two partners both drank and it was never once an issue. What I need is simply that a first meeting can be in the middle of the afternoon with tea in front of us and that this is not treated as an eccentric demand. The other thing it means, which matters more, is that nothing at all happens between us while either of us is drinking. That is a hard line and it has been a hard line for six years, and it is not up for reconsideration once we know each other better.
What I want: something ongoing, both directions, structured rather than occasional. I lead in a low key and slightly bossy way and I follow with more difficulty and more interest.
I am funny, I am blunt, I have an enormous dog and a very small flat. Not looking for anybody who wants to know the whole story in the first week, though you will get it eventually. Not looking for a person who thinks this makes me fragile. Not looking to be congratulated about it, which happens and is peculiar.
